The Gold Leaf’s Homemade Holiday Nog Recipe

Celebrate and stay well lit with the Gold Leaf’s signature THC-infused (Homemade) Holiday Nog - With Roots Grape Gas - Ice Water Hash

Ever had homemade egg nog? If not, we’re here to remedy that right now! It’s easy, quick, delish, and our version provides a customizable buzz thanks to Roots!

This creamy, dreamy holiday beverage will keep you well-lit through the holidays.

Ingredients:

Serves ~6 people

  • 4 large eggs

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 cups whole milk

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ tsp nutmeg (freshly grated if possible)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Desired mg dosage of Roots Grape Gas - Ice Water Hash
    (*Not used to edibles or have a lower tolerance? We strongly suggest using 10mg or less.)

    TIP: To separate the desired dose of hash from your stash, heat a knife or other metal tool and slice off the desired dose. It’ll make it much easier to cut and give you more control!

  • Pinch of salt

  • Cinnamon stick (and/or powdered cinnamon) and whipped Cream (Optional - for garnish)

Instructions:

Step 1: Whisk eggs and sugar in a bowl until pale and slightly thick.

Step 2: Heat milk and cream in a saucepan until steaming (but not boiling).

Step 3: Slowly temper the egg/sugar mixture by whisking in the hot dairy a little at a time.

Step 4: Return everything to the pan.

Step 5: Add your desired dose of Roots Grape Gas - Ice Water Hash.

Step 6: Cook on low, stirring constantly, until hash is fully dissolved and mixture is slightly thickened (160°F if using a thermometer).

Step 7: Remove from heat. Stir in nutmeg, vanilla, salt.

Step 8: Chill at least 2 hours.

Step 9: Stir well before serving, then garnish with a cinnamon stick, whipped cream or both! ENJOY!
