FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST (Evening Shifts)


Job Summary:
The Front Desk Receptionist may be positioned to work in either reception security role or as CSA. All employees will be thoroughly cross trained in proper security procedures. The security agent periodically patrols the building. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals to include performing a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate will work under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

  1. Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.

  2. Obtain help by sounding alarms.

  3. Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, restraining trespassers.

  4. Control traffic by directing drivers.

  5. Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.

  6. Maintain environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.

  7. Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.

  8. Ensure operation of security equipment and surveillance cameras by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.

  9. Contribute to security team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  10. Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises.

  11. Provide excellent customer service.

  12. Adhere to all company service and operating standards.

  13. Remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

  14. Respond to emergency situations to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers.

  15. Protect the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.

  16. Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, patrolling premises regularly, traffic control, and accident investigations.

  17. Report suspicious activity, criminal behavior, and security breaches.

Minimum Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Minimum Experience Requirements: More than two (2) years’ experience in retail, and one (1) years’ experience working with cannabis systems.

Employment Type: Part-Time
Hours: Up to 30 hrs/week
Shift: Evenings & Weekends (5pm – 10:30pm)
